Ashish Bhattacharya
A veteran legend who has been practicing architecture and interior designing for 50 years under the aegis of his firm ‘Designing Cell’ ,(established in 1972) backed with qualified architects and structural engineers. His firm is widely accredited for creative excellence. He is the founder member of IIID(Indian Institute of Interior Designers,Mumbai)1973.
His firm has designed and executed numerous building architecture and interior projects(Mall, Commercial buildings, Duplex for colony, Factory, Residences, Showrooms, Offices). He has also been awarded the best artist of M.P. for his sculpture, by Prime Minister Late. I.K.Gujral in Delhi.
His firm is also the recipient of two awards for outstanding residence in M.P. Ashish Bhattacharya has had the opportunity to work for the projects of world renowned architects like Ar. B.V Doshi, Ar. Charles Correa(Bharat Bhawan) and Ar. Achyut Kanvinde.

Residence Architecture
Our design approach
We At Designing Cell Primarily Conceive The Design For The Owner Focusing Mainly And Exclusively Creating Built Forms With Functional Space Planning, To Ensure That The Architecture Accentuated The Identity Of The Client. With Space Planning Exploring Maximum Ventilation And Sunlight.
Residence Interiors
Our design approach
We Strongly Feel Interior And Architecture Are Integral Complimentary To Each Other. Hence, We Make Sure That We Plan The Interior While Preparing Architectural Plan. We Make Sure To Avoid Decorations And Give Priority To Minimalistic Design Elements Yet Offering Rich Ambience. Surface Finishes, Lighting, Fabrics, Wall Paintings Should Be Visualized In A Comprehensive Manner For Design Control

Our design approach
While designing Hotels, Resort, restaurant or Bar, we ensure that our designing language and detailing are done in consonance with the theme to create justified ambience. Also, we ensure that the entire confluence of décor offers a euphoric atmosphere with freedom of space.
Commercial Buildings/ Malls
Our design approach
We strongly feel that any commercial building be it Offices, Mall, Shopping complex must carry a dynamic or iconic façade besides the functional and commercial planning for desired foot falls
Office Interiors
Our design approach
We, while planning an office make sure besides offering a smart, disciplined and functional space plan. It should create a smart ambience of décor with controlled design elements.
Housing Colonies
Our design approach
While giving top priority to colony infrastructure (wide road, proper street light, park, hedges and plantations, underground cabling and flawless sewage systems). The building must carry an interesting and appealing architectural form. Besides, we always prioritize providing inter participating, volume /functional interior spaces with modern amenities. We also ensure that enough ventilation and natural light is provided in best possible way.
Our Projects in Progress
Residence buildings under construction
Currently, we are doing large state of art residence designing and execution. All the projects has state of art design language with different features and amenities and exquisite identities, different from each other, at prime locations. One of the project is very rustic resort of eco-architecture with bamboo structure and out of the box design ethos

We at designing cell, do not primarily work for generating fund. Our aims and objectives primarily to offer the best services to the client with creative, functional and trendsetting designs with meticulous detailing and supervision. Besides this, we always prioritize our ideology to make young architects and designers learn the professional practice in the studio as well as at site, so that, they can make a successful career. We also, make sure to keep a happy relationship amongst staff members, sharing the joy with fun and frolics and get together.

Our journey of 50 years
- Our organization today speaks with pride for having turned 50 years in the professional journey, Our designing studio(Designing Cell) enlarge designers furniture showroom (Decofurn) established in 1972. Inaugrated by then chief minister Parmanand Bhai Patel.
- We also have the credit to be the founder member of Indian Institute of Interior designing(IIID), Mumbai.
- We have 2 branches in Bhopal, one in New market and Bittan Market. Cuirrently servicing at E-8, Arera Colony.
- We have had our associate design office in Durg, Indore and New Delhi.
- During our professional journey, Mr. Ashish Bhattacharya had the pleasure to meet and interact with eminent personalities and architect.

- Ashish Bhattacharya have had the privilege to know and meet eminent personalities and architects. He also had an opportunity to associate with world class architects professionally viz. Ar. Charles Correa, Ar. Achyut kanvide, Ar. B.V Doshi, Ar. Anant Raj and Ar. Uppal Ghosh and Ar. Sharad Das(Asian Games IT fame).

- Flyingseeds is an architectural and interior consultancy firm of repute in Delhi. Headed by Architect duo Abhinav Chaudhary and Kakoli Bhattacharya. The most of the projects has a different essence of architectural excellence harmonizing nature and building.
- Their designing ethos and language is very different with exquisite creativity . Their projects have earned many laurels, awards and publications.
My Paintings & artworks
Creative Endeavour of Ashish Bhattacharya
- A strong passion of creativity backed with expertise aesthetics gave an opportunity to make world–class paintings on canvas, during the covid outbreak amids adversities of the pandemic. His paintings soon got recognition through online international paintings exhibition.
- His paintings carry a strong sense of emotional up surge and a mature brush and paint work for abstract painting.
